Berlin-based mika (accounting & taxes) is back with new pre-seed funding of 800.000 €
Redesigned website, a press release and a mention on Finance Forward's newsletter, "Generative AI Startup mika Lands €800k to Automate Accounting and Tax Filings for Small Businesses".
This round is led by a Dutch consortium of the following: Keen Venture Partners, DFF Ventures (Dutch Founders Fund) and Slimmer AI. Prior to this, mika took part in the Vision Lab of Earlybird Venture Capital. The new funds will be used to further the technology development of mika's "AI-Powered Accounting and Tax Co-Pilot".
First founded in 2022, this year marked a pivot under new leadership by Agnieszka M. Walorska 🇺🇦 — with Dennis Mengiste having stepped down.
Mika currently offers the following functionalities:
👉 Accounting on autopilot
👉 Chat with AI accountant
👉 Pro-active recommendations and insights
👉 German-Authority translator
