🇬🇧 TaxTech of the Week: Ember
Ember is a London-based all-in-one tax solution for SMEs that's also offering embedded accounting and tax software.
In May 2024, Ember raised a funding round of 5 million pounds – bringing their total funding up to 10 million pounds. At the same time, Ember was also able to strike a deal with HSBC, one of the largest banking and financial services institutions in the world. HSBC is hoping to make taxes easier and more digital for their UK-based SME customers by tapping into Ember's embedded tax solution.
Supplementing a software offering with an embedded tax solutions seems to be an idea worth trying. Have a more detailed look here.
